About Me
My Background
I am a credentialed teacher and started teaching 20 years ago, as an elementary teacher. For the last 10 years I have also tutored. I love working one on one with kids and see them grow with knowledge and confidence. In 2021, I was named Teacher of the Year.
My Expertise
I have been an elementary school teacher for 20 years. I have taught kindergarten, first grade, third grade and sixth grade. I have been a private tutor for the last 10 years. Throughout my career, I have helped pick curriculum for the district, as well as been on numerous committees to learn and teach new learning strategies. I have attended professional developments and learned reading strategies, as well as math strategies.
Personalized Lessons
Tutoring can happen in person or online. I can help your child with homework or work on a single subject, or any little extra help your child might need. I can also personalize lessons for your child. Whether it is reading, writing, or math. I will work one on one with your child and not only help them understand the subject. but boost their confidence.
